About Ash
Hi everyone. My name is Ash and I’m the sister to Smokey. We were rescued together from a street colony/community cats on the Fraser Coast in Queensland, when we were only about 8 weeks old. When I came into foster care, I was very very scared and hid away with my sister for the first week or so. But slowly, with lots of love and patience from my foster mum, I have become very independent.
When you come visit me, I will likely be quiet and timid, but if you choose to adopt me, my foster mum knows I will come out of shell with you just like I have with her. I’m happy to receive cuddles from my foster mum and love a good pat. I don’t run and hide from her anymore and my tail goes up when she reaches down to give me a big full body pat. I give her lots of purrs in return. I’m a pretty dainty eater and not really fussy but I don’t gobble my food. I do come check things out when it is dinner time or when my foster mum shakes the treats packet. I love to play but I’m equally happy spending quiet time resting and relaxing, feeling safe and secure. I also have the most beautiful stripes on my fur, which my foster mum says is very striking.
While I would be ok to find my own furever home, my sister Smokey needs to go with either myself or our adopted brother, Ricky. She needs a buddy she already knows so she can feel safe and secure.
I really hopes I can meet you soon and maybe, just maybe, you might be the special person I need in my life to show me love and patience so I can shine and show you love and head butts and purrs in return once I know you are really mine.
