About Hooch ~ Boxer X Mastiff Puppy(on trial 22/4/21)
Hooch is a male Boxer X Mastiff mix who is around 9 weeks old. This boy has a lovely placid nature and loves the company of both dogs and people of all ages. He currently lives with 7 other puppies, a very energetic 1year old medium size dog who he adores and an older medium size dog who is teaching her manners. He’ll quite often take himself away from the action for some quiet time.
There are also kids in her current foster home and he behaves very well with them (apart from pinching toys to get their attention).
In his perfect home he will need to have another dog who is patient as well as someone who has the time to train him and give him lots of snuggles. He would also suit a family who are home for often than not as an only dog. He’s going to be medium to large size boy so it is very important that her forever family are going to accommodate this in their home and lives.
Hooch is a very clever boy and is learning easily to sit, wait & toilet in the appropriate places so ongoing dedication to keep up with this training is essential as smart dogs like her can tend to become naughty without the correct training and stimulation
Hooch needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to also sleep inside at night. He will be a wonderful family dog but will not be suitable for children under 5 years of age. Good sturdy fencing is a must..
As Hooch is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing when he is approximately 5 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
