Mummalade

Big beautiful Mummalade was surrendered to one of our pound partners, and wasn't very happy about it. She was also grossly overweight and was promptly put on a special diet and given an exercise program by her foster carer, with great results. Mummalade is now deliciously plump, she does need to lose a bit more weight but the damage to joints is much less than it was.
Mummalade doesn't let her generous proportions stop her from living her best life, during the day she happily does her own thing (which involves exploring everything, climbing on beds for naps in the sun, and zooming around the house like a ginger football with a short sticky up tail). At the end of the day, Mummalade enjoys the company of her humans and snuggling on the couch is part of the evening ritual.
Mummalade has lived with other cats, but is quite happy to be the one and only as she likes the attention all to herself.

Mummalade is a healthy prescription diet fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000002711905, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
