About Willow
Hi. I'm Willow and I'm ready for my furever family.
I'm still a bit on the shy side, so I need humans that are gentle and patient, but once I've decided yr the one for me, watch out.
I'm house-trained, but love access to outdoors so I can do a little sunbathing. I will use piddle pads if I cannot get outside.
I love a snuggle on the couch, but also I have my crate set up in the lounge room, so I can go in there for a daytime nap or some quiet time. At night I have been sleeping in the foster parents bed, but will sleep in my crate if required.
I have settled in well with my foster furs and would probably do best either as a single or with an older and calm small to medium sized dog. I haven't met any cats yet. I'm not too sure about small children, but have liked the older and more quite ones I have met.
I love, love, love going for a walk, and nearly mastered walking on the leash. I also travel well in the car. I'm still learning to play with toys and sometimes I get so excited I have to hide in my crate for a short while to calm down.
Food is my friend and I will easily be trained with treats as my reward.
Are you the one to help me gain even more confidence? I promise I have all the love to give.
Medical notes
Willow is estimated to be approximately 3 years old. Since being in care she has been desexed and had a dental with 4 extractions.
She has a condition known as Colour Dilute Alopecia which is common in certain coloured chihuahuas and is of no real concern, it just means her hair is a bit thin and short in places. She has had skin biopsies done to confirm this.
She has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, is heart worm negative and is up to date with heart worm and intestinal worm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention.
