Meet Billy and Timmy Pargeter. Billy is the golden haired boy and Timmy, his best friend, has the black markings. These two have been together since they were pups and will be rehomed as a pair. The boys enjoy a drive in the car and would accompany their previous family on long country drives. Very civilised! Both Billy and Timmy also love a daily walk and this helps to burn off some of their energy.
Timmy is the slightly more outgoing of the boys, and tends to be quite dominant over Billy. Timmy is very affectionate. He wants to be close to his person, on the sofa watching TV, and he likes to cuddle close with you at night. He gets quite excitable when he knows it is walkies time, and bounces up and down like a little ball vocalizing his joy. Timmy loves picking up the cardboard tube inners of toilet rolls or kitchen rolls, and will make a funny little whining sound and bring them to you just to show you what a clever boy he is!
Billy is equally as loving. He stays close to Timmy most of the time, but he has a slightly more independent streak. He LOVES to run but only in a very secure fenced area as he will dig and is a bit of an escape artist. Timmy cannot be off lead unless in a very secure closed space or left alone outside unattended for prolonged periods of time. If he gets the chance he will take it upon himself to to seek fun and adventure. Ideal companion/s for this adorable pair would possibly be someone retired (single or couple) or other adults who can include them in all their daily activities, and they hope trips in the car!
Both dogs have adapted wonderfully to being in foster care. They can both be unsure around new dogs, especially larger dogs but once introduced settle quickly. At this stage we believe that their new home will be feline free.
They’re not yet house trained but are used to living inside so with the right help and with a little patience their new family should have no problems teaching these boys. While they know how to 'sit' and 'stop' the pair they need some practice with their recall and walking on the lead. Some positive reinforcement training and a pocket full of treats should be sufficient to keep them engaged and challenged.
Its hard not to love Billy and Timmy - they are a little quirky, but are worth getting to know. They are loving, loyal and pretty smart, so what is there NOT to love!!
Thank you to Heather of Dixon Dog Photography for the fantastic photos of Timmy and Billy.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
