Lexi

Lexi is a total love bug, her favourite place is curled up beside her hoomans, however she is a very clever girl who can follow commands (sit, drop, shake, wait) if you feel some personal space is required. She can be a cheeky girl, and really enjoys a chat.

She loves outings, and is such a well behaved girl she is welcomed anywhere she goes (even Granny's house!). She enjoys a walk around quiet streets, wearing herself out sniffing and checking out her surroundings but is still a bit unsure when she encounters other dogs.

She is very polite around food, patiently waiting for her dinner. She will even shake your hand before tucking in (even when a few of her favourite sardines are involved).

Lexi is currently sharing her foster home with two resident cats. She pays them no attention at all, just leaves them to go about their business. She will even share the sofa or bed with them.

Lexi currently has access to a crate, which she sleeps in over night and loves to just chill in during the day as well. We think she is pretty happy having her "own room" but would quite likely love to share your bed, or keep your sofa warm overnight.

Lexi would benefit from having someone around a lot of the time, who is also patient enough to continue teaching her that we hoomans can be trusted to return once we have gone about our hooman business. She is currently taking some medication to help her remain calm when alone, so will need a forever home who can continue to provide this while she needs it.

Lexi is such a loving, gentle girl she has very quickly wormed her way into the hearts of her foster family, and we know she will make a wonderful companion in her forever home
