Cupcake is a true heeler… Loyal and Protective…

She has the best ball skills… She will chase it if you throw far and low, but don’t waste your time purchasing a ball thrower. Whilst she will chase a ball along the ground, it is purely to fetch it, bring it back to you in the hope that you will throw it properly…up high… and so she can run and catch it mid-air and show off her acrobatics…. She is amazing.

Being a working dog, she is an active girl. She goes and goes. She is totally fine on her own but really loves company.

At this point, I think she will be best suited to a one-person household, or a couple who will share her time.

She has been working on her socialisation skills with both dogs and humans. She has been hanging with both big and small, male and female dogs and has been fine. Sometimes however she might think little white dogs need to be rounded up.
She was introduced to sheep and showed instinct.

Cupcake will need ongoing training with the support of SODR. She is very sweet and amazingly patient with the other dogs when they steal her ball and will make someone the most fabulous companion.
