Her ideal home:
Semi active retired person/couple with no other pets seeking a lapdog where she can be included in daily activities - then sleep in your bed at night.

Requirements:
* Will not be left without human company for extensive periods
* Preference to be the centre of attention
* Dedication to expanding her social skills
* Understanding she takes time to be comfortable with other animals
* No dog parks
* Willingness to be covered in kisses

Hermione is a lap-loving, affectionate snuggle bug. Whilst she may start off a bit wary she quickly warms to people of all ages. She is happiest when with her humans and will be your little shadow, she sometimes bumps into things as her eyes are on you instead of looking where she is going. You are her world.

It took a while for this little madam to feel comfortable sharing her human with other animals, but after a few weeks she now adores her foster dog and cat siblings. Hermione is especially scared of bigger dogs but is all talk - she will growl and bark but if confronted will back away. Then growl and bark again. Then back away. And so on. If there are resident pets in Hermione's new home you must understand she will not settle in quickly and will need your guidance.
Her resource guarding with other pets has also come a long way but still needs fine tuning.

This girl is full of kisses and just craves love. When rubbing her ears she just melts into paradise. She does pull on lead in her excitement to see everything, but at 4.7kgs (she is overweight) she is easy to manage. Hermione does display behaviours consistent with many smaller breeds - growling and barking when she is uncertain or feeling anxious (towards people and other animals) but is a keen student and progressing really well.

Her favourite spots are in your arms, on your bed, or on top of the couch, an old habit proving hard to break. She just curls herself up and you do forget she is there. She is otherwise a very easy going lil lass and will brighten your day with her antics and love.
