On Hold
About Betty ~ 4 month old kitten (on trial 08/06/2021)
Let us introduce you to the very beautiful Betty! This little lady has velvety soft fur, striking eyes, and she loves to cuddle with her humans- especially kids!
Betty and her siblings, Wilma and Barney, were found in a cardboard box near a bus stop, obviously dumped but luckily a good samaritan found them and contacted Dog Rescue Newcastle to help.
They were all of 6 weeks old and so scared but slowly they have become comfortable in their foster homes. Betty is particularly friendly and even though she is still a little timid with loud noises and fast movements, she loves living with the kids and other animals in her foster home.
Although she is shy, as long as she can rest her little paw on you, her purr motor doesn’t rest. She just wants to be touching you at all times!
Betty loves her toys and anything she can chase, and she would benefit from a scratching post to climb and play on.
Betty has been exposed to other cats and dogs so with a slow introduction she would be fine with other pets. Betty loves to cuddle and thrives on company so she would either need a furry friend for company or someone home more often than not. We feel that children over the age of 5 years old would be ideal as long as gentle.
DRN cats and kittens must be inside only unless you have a cat enclosure that they can have some outside time in.
Her adoption fee is $250 which covers microchipping, desexing, and the first kitten vaccination. Betty is currently in foster care in Valentine, NSW.
