Leonardo

Leonardo is a handsome young man typical of the Maremma breed. He is affectionate with his family but aloof towards strangers.

Maremmas were bred to be independent thinkers and flock guardians. They are suited to farm settings where they have lots of space and room to exercise, although they can live happily in suburbia under the right conditions.

Leonardo will need a home with no children, where his humans have had experience with Maremmas, and can ensure he becomes a valued part of the family.

Leonardo has lived all his life with other dogs, and should be fine sharing his home with a canine friend, although they will need to meet first.

Leonardo weighs 37kg and is staying at Tuross Head. He is available for adoption in NSW and the ACT.
