Meet Kellie and Kate, our wonder mums! Kellie was brought into the shelter with her daughter Kate and her five extra kittens, with darling Kate quite heavily pregnant! Incredibly bonded, this beautiful pair had no trouble in sharing the motherly duties of kitten care and were sent into foster care together. 10 days later, Kate gave birth to three beautiful kittens! Kellie and Kate proceeded to raise the 8 kittens together with both cats feeding and looking after their own and the other's kittens equally. It wasn't odd to see them stealing each others kitten to love! Kate has spent her whole life with her mother and the two are so close they walk and sit whenever they can. Even when they had two beds, they would move their kittens into one bed, so they could curl up together. With their kittens growing up, Kellie and Kate are ready to move into a new home together, and spend time getting to know a new family. Kellie is a lovely cat who likes to sit with you and be patted. She is interested in what is going on in her household and will always come and greet you when you come into the room. She loves to follow you around the house and talk to you as you go about your day. Kate is a little reserved and might take a little longer to make new friends. She is happy to let Kellie take centre stage but enjoys human company too. Kate still has a lot of kitten in her and loves to play with wand toys with you.
Kellie and Kate are gentle cats with people and would be happy in a family with children but might not be so accepting of other cats and are not dog lovers.
