About Darik
Darik bio
Darik is a beautiful little boy with an even more beautiful personality! This handsome little boy came into care after being trapped on the streets, and he was extremely afraid of everything and everyone around him!
A few weeks after coming into care, he started to learn that humans are okay to trust and that they provide lots of yummy treats and food! His favourite past time is eating, and you will often find him sticking his head into the dry food containers! He loves to sing in the mornings when he first sees you when it is breakfast time.
He loves having other cats around, and his confidence would continue to grow even more if he has another playful cat for company. He currently lives with 5 other cats, and gets along beautifully with them.
He has also briefly met the resident dogs at his foster home who he was not so keen on their excited hellos. Darik has also met birds and was not to interested in annoying them.
Darik has also been around a young crawling baby, and he is fine with her. If the baby gets to much in his face, he will quietly move himself out of the way. A home with quiet children would be suitable for him.
Darik is extremely shy at first, but once he gets to know you after a few days, he will become your little shadow! He loves following his foster mum everywhere in the house, and especially loves his little secret treats from Grandma!
