About Jill
🧡 JILL WENT UP THE HILL, ALL THE WAY TO BULLSBROOK! 🧡
“Howdy! The name is Jill, and yes I do have a foster brother named Jack! He's also looking for a home of his own, but he is still super shy so he isn't quite ready to be meeting people yet. Although, I know that he would love to come home with me. He will eventually learn that humans aren't always mean, but it is hard to adjust when they haven't always been so nice to you. I grew up on the streets but as soon as I landed in foster care I just knew I had hit the jackpot. I quickly learned that my foster family always had something delicious to share and within a couple of weeks I fell head over heels for my foster people. They give me all the yummy stuff which has helped me put on a bit of weight, something I really needed because I was so skinny.
I have been enjoying the place up here. I get to stare out the windows at all the wildlife and beautiful trees. The neighbourhood I came from wasn't this lovely and it was quite scary outside dodging cars and dogs and people, so I am really loving this new lifestyle. I spend a lot of time with my foster mum, she's the best and always making sure I'm happy. I love to follow her about watching everything she does, and the resident cats enjoy it too. The scratch post is my favourite place of all because I can lounge about in the sun and relax. I'd love to meet you if you're on the search for a lifelong friend?"
Jill is a quiet girl that requires a more relaxed home to help her adjust to her new surroundings. She is best suited to a home with older children or no children, and a home without dogs or with a calm and gentle dog. Jill is cat social and will suit most homes with cats. She would love someone that is invested in helping her to blossom in to the beautiful girl we know she is.
All adult cats are sent to potential new homes on a one to two week trial after an initial meet and greet before finalising adoption. While adult cats do take longer than this to settle into a new home, it allows a chance to see how the cat is coping with the new environment.
