About Dashi
“Dashi” and his litter mates had a slow start to socialising and can be shy when meeting new people and other dogs, their new families will need to patiently build their confidence with positive meeting experiences. Dashi has been growing in confidence and is realising new experiences can be fun.
Dashi is an energetic boy and loves to run and play. He is good with other dogs, cats and children. He loves to be near his people and really loves cuddles and attention. He is food motivated and tries hard to learn new things and please his humans. He knows how to sit, will wait for food, is great in the car, is crate trained for night sleeping and doing really well with toilet training.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a good size yard with shady areas.
• Dashi will not be alone more than 5hrs.
• You will allow a Dashi to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with his breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer Dashi will be considered. Please note if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
