About Ivy
Time has come to list our large breed puppy Ivy. Based in Horsham Rural Victoria
This girl needs a committed and dog savvy home. Ivy is a Bull Arab (although we are thinking more likely Mastiff) x Wolfhound and she is a rambunctious puppy. Her date of birth is 22 December 2020 and she will grow into a big girl as a adult.
A bit about Ivy since coming into our care in early March.
We have battled to get her upset tummy settled with an intense worming program and consistent diet. Ivy is now a much more settled pup and happier in herself. Normal poops now for this girl.
Ivy continues to be adverse to pressure on her collar so we are doing some work on walking her in a harness or slip lead. We believe Ivy has been pulled around by her collar in her previous home.
Ivy was removed from her mum at around 4 weeks of age and handraised by her previous owner. Ivy can be quite mouthy and is not aware sometimes of the pressure of her play mouthing.
Ivy is a confident girl and can be a rough player and opinionated. She has not been around cats and not suitable to be rehoused with chickens.
So cutting to the chase; Ivy will need a committed child free (teenagers will be fine) home with or without another dog. Her new owners will need to be committed to her training and socialisation.
Don't be suckered into those eyes 😂. Ivy is a delight but also a rascal.
She goes to her new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Ivy's adoption fee is $700.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
