About Stevie
Stevie has been in our care with her brother Ray Ray since April 2019. They have endured so much over the past two years. They were left abandoned in our overnight kennel with major health issues. Both were born with no eye lids resulting in painful infected eyes. It’s been a two year team effort from our dedicated staff, foster carers, community donations and multiple surgeries performed by a veterinary ophthalmologist to get them to where they are today.
Their journey has been long but we did it!!! It’s going to be so hard to see this gorgeous duo go but Stevie & Ray Ray deserve this next stage of their life …… a forever home.
They are available for adoption together or separate.
Here is what their foster carer Kelly has to say about Stevie:
Stevie is a stunning girl. She is super sweet but also super shy. She will take time to settle in. She likes to have her safe place so when she feels uncomfortable she can run to it. Once she is comfortable she will let you give her some pats and she loves a good scratch.
She can be fussy with her food, one week she will like one food and then next she won’t but she loves the gravy/saucy cat food ones. She would suit a mature quiet household with no kids. She is dog and cat friendly as long as they respect her space. She can be quiet playful once settled and loves the ball towers and will play with other cats. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up and isn’t a lap cat. She needs her eyes cleaned regularly to keep them clean.
Stevie's adoption fee has been reduced to $30 due to a kind donation. This fee covers – microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatment.
If you are able to provide a loving, understanding home environment where Stevie will be loved unconditionally we would love to hear from you.
