🍀 💚🌿 MEET REGGIE 🌿💚🍀
Hi, my name is Reggie and I'm an adorable boy who has been living out on the streets for at least a few years. I had a pretty rough time out there, but luckily, the Angels took me in when they did and I'm now learning that all hoomans aren't so bad.
Nature
I'm getting so used to having food on tap that my Foster Mum has put me on a diet - but she sometimes rewards my sweetness with a treat or two. She does keep insisting I exercise so I play jump on and off her bed game all day. I just hope I get the same chance as all the other lovely cats that come into care to find a home of my own and start my new life! I just need someone who will give me the time and patience I need to become a house cat, and I promise it will be a very rewarding process watching me grow into a friendly cat hiding inside my scared shell.
Now, I am happy to have you in my presence but if you dare to come too close I will glare and even give you a little warning hiss. I often go and hide so I can watch people from afar.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I enjoy the company of other cats and will share my food bowl with any of my foster brother and sisters. I am still a little shy of the huge crazy creatures that bark and try to steal my food though! I could probably learn to live with one, but slow introductions would be best.
I'm also probably better suited to older children who will be able to give me some space and patience while I'm still adapting to my new indoor life. I'm a little scared of loud noises and sudden movements too.
Likes / Dislikes
I'm not sure if you realised already, but I LOVE food! All food, but especially treats. It's definitely the way to my heart! I also love playing and jumping around and I especially love naps. One of my favourite things to do is also watch my foster hoomans as they go about their daily business - but shhhh! don't give up my secret! I'm still trying to figure them out, but I'm very curious and I know I'll learn to love these big funny creatures soon. They're so funny!
My PURR-fect home would be with a family who are able to give me all the unconditional love and patience I need to come out of my shell. I know I'll be a wonderful house cat one of these days, but I just need a bit of time to help me get there. I'd also really love a home with a friendly cat friend who can help me to learn to love these funny people even quicker! Probably no small humans though, if that's ok.
