About Mitsu
The one, the only, Mitsu!
In Japanese my name means light or honey which suits me perfectly, sweet as honey and I will light up your life!
I came into care at the start of the year after being seriously wounded by a dog. Over the first few months in care, I went been through two major surgeries, and rehabilitation and really showed everyone my strong fighter spirit.
With the support of my carers, I regained full mobility and am now in perfect health!
I am incredibly friendly, smoochy, and playful. I absolutely adore humans, and am generally very friendly with other cats too! My experience has stopped me from taking things in my stride and being confident and happy go lucky.
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
