Hi there. I’m Misa. I’m a 14-month-old Kelpie cross cattle dog girl.💕

I’m a happy, bouncy girl and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit an active family on a large property/farm that will include me in their everyday lives. I’m a super social girl and enjoy playing with other friendly dogs. I love kids, but I'm way too excitable for younger ones and will knock them over. Therefore a home with kids over 12 years of age would be be best.

Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. When I first arrived I had trust issues, and can still be hand shy. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever girl & learn quickly. I sit & wait for my food. We have been working on my recall and I'm going great. I have also started my lead training and am getting used to walking with one. I go on bush walks with my foster family and foster siblings and don’t stray far from my foster mum.

My one negative vice is that I like to jump up on people & doors. It's because I'm super excitable. Foster mum and I have been working very hard on that and I am improving every day. My new family must be willing to continue working with me on that.

I currently sleep both inside in a crate and outside in a kennel. I’m a good girl and sleep quietly through the night. I live with cats but I would prefer my home have NO kitties as they terrify me. If they run I will chase them, but I'm getting better. I also live with chickens and pay no attention to them in their enclosure or when they have free range time, although I have not been in the same yard with them.

I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation to help me be the best girl I can be. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.
