Hi! My name is Lucky. 💗💗💗
I'm an 18-month old Kelpie cross Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I'm only a small boy, weighing around 8-kg.
I'm looking for a “Foster with a view to adopt” type home so my rescue can continue to support me in my rehabilitation. Time and patience are what I need as I take time to warm up to you. I can be very nervous and timid around new people, especially men, but once I get to know & trust you, I'll show you my loving and kind personality. I love cuddles at any time of the day, I can’t get enough of them. I do love kids, but calm kids over 8-years of age would be best as I do like my peace & quiet.
I am very friendly with other dogs. My new home absolutely MUST have another calm, gentle and social resident dog as I don’t always have the confidence to do things on my own. I look to my foster brother for guidance as it gives me the strength to try new things. He makes me feel safe and teaches me how to be in this world.
I sleep in my crate at night. I really love my cozy crate and find it calming. It gives me a safe space that is mine. I'm a nervous piddler, and can sometimes have accidents inside. I really don't mean to, but my foster mum & dad are patient and are teaching me to go outside to use the lawn. My love of my crate helps to manage this.
I love long walks, especially at the beach and I recently discovered that it’s so much fun to swim. I don’t yet know how to play with toys, but I do love to play chase with you or furry friends.
I need a special family that has the time and patience to teach me how to interact around people. A home that is prepared to provide training and socialisation. In return, I will love you unconditionally and be your best friend. Will you take me to my forever home? If you think you can offer me my pawfect home then I’d love to hear from you. ☎☎
Love & licks,
Lucky 🐾
