About Rainbow DL2641
Rainbow loves you already - and you haven't even met her yet.
Why Rainbow was dumped at the pound is a mystery to us! There's absolutely nothing wrong, other than a touch of joy she brings. Like her name, she is always trying to be a Rainbow in your stormy day, by giving you the best cuddles ever to fix your mood. Her heart is flowing and her eyes look at you so warmly.
Without judging, she is ready to sit with you and listen to all your stories. She sounds like a dog who would have a happy family. Yet, she has none. Perhaps we need to say more about this sweetheart.
Rainbow is a social dog who is friendly with people and other dogs. She loves her foster brother and likes to spend the day together wrestling and sunbathing in the backyard, and she even tolerates his high energy. In the afternoon, Rainbow will walk together with us around the block or go to the the park to meet more friends. She is a strong girl and is really excited in the beginning we leave the house, but with consistent cues and treats, she will walk with a loose lead, only pulling rarely.
She is always waiting for a beach adventure on the weekends. She likes to soak her feet and does a little swim. What she loves the most is the ball or throwing toy. So playing fetch with her is the absolute best. She loves her chew toys and will carry her favourite one around with her everywhere. She likes a comfy & warm doggy bed, but she prefers to tuck her head under your armpit.
As Rainbow is house trained, having a home with unlimited access (doggy door) to the backyard is preferable. She goes to the toilet and plays in the backyard, but loves to sleep inside. She already knows basic training like sit, leave it and paw. As she is very food motivated, she's an ease to train. She is currently learning to sit before crossing the road and heel. She is still learning to share her space and toys with other dogs, so this will require some monitoring as she settles into a new home.
Rainbow would love to finally meet you! Email our team at DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
