About Elmer
Brave and opinionated. Elmer is ready to tell you a story.
Being a smaller lad at birth, he caught up real quick in growth and learning everything he needed to know to gain the best cuddles around town.
He's ready to search for his own home and hoping he doesn't have to wait too long.
Born into care, he's been hand raised alongside his doting mum Maizy and his adorable siblings. Being exposed to all the positive sides of life at such a young age means he is nothing but loving and caring to anyone he meets.
Loving other doggies, and adoring people and kids. He's a great addition to any household.
Elmer is a handsome blue cattle dog X American bulldog so we are expecting medium to possible large in adult side. Colourful but thick in stature.
He would suit a home with another existing dog in the home, who's kind and gentle and welcoming to adventures together but may suit being an only dog in a home where someone is home more often than not and can provide adequate exercise and continued socialisation.
Elmer has been around kids since birth and is comfortable around their existence. So a home with dog savvy kids would suit him well, extra cuddles he says!
He will need a home looking to include him in the family and allow him to sleep inside especially at night time throughout puppy hood and life.
Elmer is located in the Newcastle area and is ready to leave for his new home over the Easter holidays. His adoption fee is $600.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
