ChiChi 🐾 Chihuahua x Pom (On Trial 9/4/21) 🐶

Chichi is a 4 yo, female, Chihuahua x Pomeranian who will steal your heart! ❤️ She is a very tiny girl, and a very big cuddler. When you sit down, she'll be on your lap. She loves to be held like a baby. When you move around your house and garden she'll be by your side, gazing up at you with big adoring eyes. Though she loves to be with you, she doesn't get worried when you go out for a few hours but she wouldn't like being home alone all day.

Chichi loves going for a walk and walks very nicely on a harness and lead. with a spring in her step and wag in her tail.

Chichi is great with other dogs 🐶. She was surrendered to DRN when her owner could no longer look after her. She is now in foster care with 5 small dogs and she gets along well with them, except maybe when they want to share your lap. She would be fine as an only dog or living with other friendly dogs. We haven't introduced Chichi to any cats so don't know how she'd react.

Chichi is very much an inside girl. She is house trained and is not a nuisance barker 😍. She has a short, soft coat which just needs regular brushing and the occasional bath. She has a gorgeous, fluffy tail.

Chichi is very tiny. She needs secure fencing with no small gaps and which is not easy to dig under or jump over. Small dogs like her typically live to age 15 or 16 so she is still a youngster and should have many years to enjoy in her forever home.

Chichi is good with children, but because of her size she wouldn't be suitable to live with young children because they might accidentally hurt her. She's fine when children come to visit though. She would suit an active, newly retired couple or single person or a couple where someone works from home and has lots of time to dote on her.

We are looking for a forever home for Chichi where there is someone home most of the time who will make her a big part of their lives; to love her, play with her, take her for a daily walk, and let her sit on their lap.

Chichi is in foster care in Warners Bay, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). She available for adoption within NSW and ACT only. Her adoption fee is $550 and she is desexed, vaccinated, vet checked, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
