Blackberry

Blackberry has been at the shelter since a tiny kitten, he just gets over looked because he isn't the bravest of the bunch, he tends to sit back a little and waits for people to interact with him... people miss this signal thinking he is not interested in them but in fact he really is, he just lacks the confidence to start the play...

Blackberry is not a fan of being picked up either which is another reason why he gets left behind, sad though because this boy is full of character and when he feels confident he comes and rubs up against your legs. He really does have a lot of love to give but for those cats that are just a little shy they need the people to approach them and give them some time to come around.

Blackberry is full of play, he loves it, he can be so entertaining to watch as he even creates his own games, he is fabulous with other cats and no matter who we move into his room he bonds with them pretty quickly, making friends with the feline kind is not an issue for this boy at all..

Blackberry is now 6 months old and has sadly been here since he was 5 weeks old - yep nearly the entire 6 months, this makes it even harder for cats like Blackberry as they think the shelter is their home..... he really just needs the right person to come along and give him the chance he needs to thrive in a new home that will be his forever...

come spend some time with Blackberry at our Longford adoption centre... his adoption fee has been reduced to $280 to help him find a home quicker...
