About Matilda
Matilda is the perfect hobby farm addition. An active girl who just loves being by your side. Loyal and loving, she wants to please you and meet everyone she can whilst she's at it.
Being in foster care currently she is being raised with a pack of dogs ranging from 2.5kg to 65kg and loves everyone she meets including any new foster dogs to arrive waiting for her welcome.
She's met cats, chickens, ducks and bottle calves and is fantastic with all. She adores all people and kids and is just hoping someone is wanting a companion that's both adorable and friendly.
Matilda isn't looking for a suburban home and won't be adventuring off to someone who can't fulfil her working needs.
She isnt looking to herd or chase other animals, but is looking to be a canine companion for all additions of a farm.
Matilda is crate and toilet trained, working well with her obedience training, recall and off leash work and smashing all training goals as she approaches them.
She sleeps inside at night and will need to be allowed inside with her new family throughout puppy hood and life. We will NOT be looking for a home that wants her to sleep outside at night.
She is loyal to staying close to the house so would suit rural fencing well but will need to know the boundaries of the property to know where she can and can not wander.
Matilda is hoping for a home with another playful and active dog and would suit a home with many dogs or just one. We don't think she would suit being an only dog so existing social dogs in the home are essential.
Matilda is located in the lower hunter valley and ready to meet you now. Her adoption fee is $600.
We may accept interstate adoption for the right candidate BUT you must drive to the foster home in the Lower Hunter valley for any meet and greets and pick ups.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
