Meet gorgeous Ibsy. A country goofball, Ibsy is new to the easy life of a city dog and is learning about all the new sights, sounds and smells! Although very timid around busy roads and bustling public areas, Ibsy has shown that with patience and consistent positive exposure to new things, he can make progress.

Ibsy is learning how to play with dog toys, learning about walking on lead and learning about appropriate behaviour inside a house. He is crate trained, sleep swell through the night and is picking up on training with plenty of praise and affection.

Secure high fencing is essential in Ibsys new home as when he is anxious, he will look for a way to escape.

Ibsy craves attention, reassurance and affection from his human foster family and reassurance so will be better suited to a home who has a family member home most of the time. Ibsy would live quite happily with a calm resident dog for company but would need slow and gentle introductions to ensure Ibsy is not overwhelmed.

Ibsy is a housetrained and smoochy boy whose curious nature sees him following you around the house watching what you are doing and absorbing the sights and sounds of family life. He will sleep beside you wherever you let him and loves a cuddle on the couch.

Ibsy will thrive in a calm but physically active household committed to building on his confidence and positive exposure to new experiences. He is a gentle sweetheart, just wanting to please you and be told he is a good boy.

He has not been tested with small children. Ignored the cat he met so with careful introductions, he would be fine living with a confident cat
