Keena is a friendly lovable dog that doesn’t like to be picked up. She likes to lay across the back of the couch and put her head on your shoulder.
She likes to pull the stuffing out of teddies, doonas and dog beds.
Loves being in the garden and will spend hours searching for bugs to chase.
A message from her carer
“She has a very sweet nature.
Loves her pats and cuddles.
Allows others to hold and cuddle her.
I pick her up each time to put on her harness.
She comes and stands beside me waiting.
Travels well in car. Sits or lies on back seat.
I don't allow her to chew or destroy.
I just give her something appropriate to chew on.
Walks well. Does not pull but loves sniffing around.
Polite with her food. Waits when I put it down.
Doesn't always eat it. I don't fuss.
Not food motivated for training.
Often just comes to lie at my feet.
I can then pick her up and she will just sleep in my arms.
Mostly in the afternoon.
In general just a beautiful little dog.
PS Yes still over reactive towards other dogs but
we can avoid them on our walks”
