About Peggy ~ Kelpie X Puppy(Pending Meet & Greet 9.4.21
Peggy is a sweet and snuggly 9 week old Kelpie x. Peggy is a happy, easygoing girl just looking for a family to call her own.
Peggy is a gorgeous young girl who loves her people. Her favourite thing is to snuggle into your lap for a nap and will follow you around the house, happy to hang out at a safe distance in the kitchen while you cook or snooze under the desk while you work. Peggy also loves exploring the backyard, running around with her sister and playing tug of war.
Peggy is a smart girl who is learning to sit and has picked up toilet training very quickly, now having minimal accidents inside. Peggy needs a family committed to her ongoing training. We recommend puppy school for all our puppies to begin socialising and learning new skills.
Being a high energy working breed, Peggy will require plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation and needs an active family committed to her needs.
Peggy is very friendly with other dogs and would be happy with a furry sibling, however he would also be ok as an only dog if there was someone home most of the time. She is not tested with cats or other pocket pets.
Peggy would love to have someone home most of the time, eg someone working from home or part-time, alternatively she would love to come along to work with you through the day. She is currently an inside dog and must be allowed inside in her new home. Peggy needs secure fencing with no gaps that a little puppy could squeeze through.
As Peggy is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens as he will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old. Unfortunately this means that we will not allow interstate or out of area adoption.
To register your interest in adopting Peggy, you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or for more information please contact Darcy at darcy.drn@outlook.com
Peggy’s adoption fee is $600 and she is microchipped, has had her first puppy vaccination, and treated for fleas and worms. Peggy is currently in foster care in Maitland, NSW.
