Poppy ~ Kelpie X Puppy(On Trial 9/4/21)

Poppy is a sweet and spunky 9 week old Kelpie x. Poppy is a happy, cuddly girl just looking for a family to call her own.

Poppy is a gorgeous young girl who loves people and her furry foster brothers. She loves tearing around the house and yard to burn her energy, then will curl up in your lap to recharge. She loves chasing balls and squeaky toys and can even bring them back most of the time!

Poppy is a smart girl who is learning to sit and has picked up toilet training very quickly, now having no accidents inside. Poppy needs a family committed to her ongoing training. We recommend puppy school for all our puppies to begin socialising and learning new skills.

Being a high energy working breed, Poppy will require plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation and needs an active family committed to her needs.

Poppy is very friendly with other dogs and would be happy with a furry sibling, however he would also be ok as an only dog if there was someone home most of the time. She is not tested with cats or other pocket pets.

Poppy would love to have someone home most of the time, eg someone working from home or part-time, alternatively she would love to come along to work with you through the day. She is currently an inside dog and must be allowed inside in her new home. Poppy needs secure fencing with no gaps that a little puppy could squeeze through.

As Poppy is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens as she will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old. Unfortunately this means that we will not allow interstate or out of area adoption.

Poppy’s adoption fee is $600 and she is microchipped, has had her first puppy vaccination, and treated for fleas and worms. Poppy is currently in foster care in Maitland, NSW.
