Meet Bobby. He’s a shy and gentle young man who is a bit weary of men so would rather a female owner. He’s very clever and learns quickly. He can be shy with other dogs but is good with them. He prefers the quieter ones who aren’t going to overwhelm him with rough play. His perfect new home would be a quieter place with a lovely patient human. He may get a little overwhelmed when he firsts moves in but will adjust and settle soon enough. He’s not the kind of guy you take to the dog park or let loose at the beach.

His second week in care Bobby took himself on a big adventure! We found out the hard way that he has a pretty strong phobia of storms and he escaped his carers 5.5ft fenced yard. That was a massive effort for the small guy. He became impossible to catch as he was trapped in a state of fear. He avoided everyone who tried to catch him and ended up running around cane lands for four days! We need to find him a home where he will be secure and his human will work with him through training protocols to teach him some coping mechanisms and build his confidence to prevent him getting away again.

Bobby will require 6ft secure fencing, the ability to be crated or secured inside when you are not home as he is prone to separation anxiety and he needs to be enrolled into Canine Training School so his new owners can learn the skills required to keep him safe and to help his development so he can have the best life he can.
