Blue

Introducing, Blue who is being fostered in Tweed Heads so homes only around Tweed Heads/Gold Coast will be considered.

Must go with another dog.

Blue is a 3 year old silky coated terrier, weighing 7.5kg.
Despite having lived in a backyard for most of his life, he has taken to indoor living like a champ, and will never go back! Blue will need access to the indoors at all times.
He is fully toilet trained with regular access to the outdoors.

Since coming into care, Blue has enjoyed off-leash walks at the beach, and has shown perfect recall, making sure he checks in with you frequently and can see you at all times. He walks well on leash but can be startled by sudden movements and loud noises, both outside and in the home. His favourite spot in the car is in between the front seats so he can use your shoulder as a headrest.

He is friendly with dogs of all size and thrives in their company so will need a home with another similar sized, friendly and well-adjusted companion. He should not be left alone for long periods of time and would suit a family who works from home or part time.
Young children under 10 will be a little too much excitement for Blue but older dog savvy children could be considered.

Blue bonds quickly and will need an understanding family who will allow him the time and patience to adjust to his new environment. Blue has not had a lot of human socialisation so can be vary of strangers but once he gets to know you, he is a total love bug who wants nothing but to be around his favourite human. Blue is in foster care in Tweed Heads however meet and greet can be done on the Gold Coast if needed.
