Zip, Flash, Zoom. Catch me if you Can! The names Percy and if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the coolest Kelpie on the block.
Handsome - Check. Goofy - Check. Smart noggin - Check. I'm a cool dude that has all the potential in the world, I just haven't found the right human yet. I arrived at the shelter with very limited life skills, despite my awesome nature I've had little to no training and socilaisation in my previous home. If you know much about kelpies, you'll know how quickly we can learn, but also how quickly we can get bored. That's why I'm looking for a family that has experience with my breed and knows what to expect. Someone to take me under their wing and show me the ropes, someone that understands my needs and wont force me into doing things I'm not yet ready for.
I'd love a calm home with a family that will help guide me through the next couple of months of settling in. I like to keep very busy and will need plenty of mental stimulation as well as physical. I'm loyal, playful and did I mention HANDSOME?! At this stage in my life I would prefer to go home to an adult only home, no young kiddos for me please. I would also benefit from living with an older, social dog that can show me the ropes, but would also be fine to be adopted on my lonesome.
