No other dogs or cats.
No children due to Biggles being so timid.
Please note, we don't usually rehome two males together so who ever adopts these two dogs need to be experienced Stafford owners.
When these poor dogs came into SRV Stewie was lucky to be alive but is now looking fine. The new owners will be shown the before photo’s, we don’t want to post them because they are very distressing.
Biggles has seen a specialist for the injury he had on his shoulder, it looks like his shoulder was dislocated some time ago, there is no point for surgery at this time of his young life as it isn’t bothering him. He may need surgery later on in life which SRV will pay for.
Hi, our names are Biggles & Stewie.
I (Stewie) love pats and cuddles. When I see people or other dogs I can’t stop wagging my tail, it goes around in circles because I’m so excited. I’m a very happy curious boy who loves to explore, go for walks and adventures in the car. Biggles looks after me and we love to play together. I’m full of beans and just love playing games and when I get tired I love a cuddle.
Biggles is shy and it takes a while to earn his trust because he has been through so much. But once he gets to know you he has a lot of love to give. You must be patient, loving and understanding, he needs time to get to know you before he feels safe. He is very scared and has been badly mistreated.
When Biggles has gained his trust and confidence in people he will need to go to obedience school, I can go sooner as I’m full of confidence, so I’m hoping I can get taken to puppy school and then onto obedience school to learn all the things that good dogs get taught.
We both stay in our crate overnight and snuggle up together
We would love to be able to wander around in the yard during the day. A dog door would be perfect. We don’t like rain and would like to spend our time in bed or on the couch on those yucky days.
Our favourite hobbies are sunpigging, playing with toys, exploring the yard and eating treats!
We must have a home together where we will get all the love and attention we deserve.
So if you think you can offer us a good forever home where you’ll be able to give us all the above, in return we will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!
Please go to Stafford Rescue Victoria’s website where you will find the Adoption Application. The link is in the comments below my posting.
Please make sure you read all the information on the Adoption page.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
https://staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/adoption-process/
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
