Sargent

Based in Horsham Rural City Council area. 3.5 hours away from Melbourne towards the SA Border.

Sargent or Sarge as he is referred to by his foster carer is an awesome active dog.

Sarge has basic training and also has training in rounding up sheep in the yards. Sarge is not good at rounding up sheep in the paddocks.

Sarge can jump up a bit when excited but soon settles. He is currently in foster care with a 10 year old boy and he is pretty respectful of him.

Sarge needs some further training to walk on a lead as he has mostly lived and moved around off lead. He would make a good jogging partner once the lead issue has been resolved.

Sarge has good basic training in regards to sitting on command, leaving things when told. He is house trained and can be chained up (if required) without any fretting.

Sarge has been around cats that are dog savvy but if they run he will want to chase.
Sarge is not a barker and is not an escape artist. He is happy in a relatively large yard whilst his foster carer is at work.

Sarge is a fairly large smooth coat Border Collie (from a strong working linage). He weighs in at 27kg.
