About Mason & Minerva Mcgonagall
Minerva was found on the streets with her kittens, terrified and starving. The little family was taken into care and thrived. Minerva's kittens have all been adopted out but Minerva was too scared and stayed in foster care. She is desperate for affection but was would flinch away from being touched... until Mason arrived. They were crate neighbours to start with, but one afternoon the carer forgot to close the doors properly. The carer walked in to find Mason snuggled up with Minerva in her crate, and they have been best friends ever since.
Mason was a battered street cat, rescued by a kind person who paid for all his vet work then gave him to us for rehoming. Mason is a charming boy, with a passion for food that can sometimes mean he forgets his manners, and he'll start meowing half an hour before dinner time to make sure he's not forgotten. How could we?
Minerva's confidence has shot up since being with Mason, she now enjoys pats, has a chat and while still cautious, is not terrified of her carer or visitors any more. In fact, she even plays a little sometimes... the sign of a relaxed cat! Mason has learnt some manners and now doesn't swipe for food, he sits and waits and lets you know he's waiting. He's confident, friendly, loves a smooch, scritch and pat and will talk to anyone who wants a chat. The two of them are just wonderful together and so good for each other!
Minerva and Mason McGonagall are now a bonded pair. They're looking for a situation where they can stay together and be friends with the human/s in their lives. They don't need to be on the bed or totally spoilt, but they do need regular interaction, food (of course!), playtime, affection and a few comfy spots to lounge around on, preferably with a window where they can watch the world go by.
Are you looking for a pair of feline friends to complete your life? Look no further, submit an enquiry now and meet the McGonagalls!
