About Boris
I'm an energetic little lad who is currently on the search for the perfect forever family.
I was surrendered to Lort Smith when unfortunately my energy levels were not the right match for my family. That's okay though, because I can now find a family who will keep up with my high energy needs!
I'm seeking a home with another young, active small breed dog to be my companion and also give me some guidance to help me grow into a well mannered young man. I would be best suited with another terrier, as we have a very particular play style, that some other dogs find a little overwhelming! I love to play, sometimes a little too much, so my new canine friend must be tolerant and happy to have a puppy around. I'm not suited to being the only dog in the home.
My new family must let me be indoors and part of the family, I thrive whilst being included in the daily happenings of the family. I do get a bit distressed when I've left for long periods so a family with people home a lot of the time would be best.
I'm still learning that it's only appropriate to chew on toys and not on hands, so due to my mouthiness I'm seeking a home with no children under 10 years old.
I'm a very clever boy, I'm already getting the hang of toilet training and I happily sleep in my bed all night with no complaints, how cool is that! I would benefit from obedience training as I'm very keen to learn.
My instinctual terrier drive for prey is very strong already, so I'm hoping to find a home with no cats or other small animals, as the temptation to chase is just a bit much for me!
If you have room in your family and home for a very cheeky little puppy like me, please fill out an expression of interest form!
*I'm currently in foster care and not in the shelter, so my meet and greets will be by appointment only.*
