Miss Molly loves to be your personal shadow. She is super happy getting pats and following her people around. She would love to be a companion for someone who is home a lot. If that is not possible then she would really need a doggy companion, who is not too scary and loves to play with her.
Molly is unsure of new dogs though, as a result of having a few bad experiences with others (not her fault), however settles quickly with reassurance. She would rather stay away from confrontation with other dogs. Molly will need a 6ft fence, as if she is left alone she tends to wander and try to find her own adventures.
Miss Molly is a gentle soul, who doesn't mind life at a steady pace, however she does enjoy afternoon walks and playing with her foster sister. She is very gentle on the lead and not hard to walk. She is still working out that the game of chasing a ball is where you are supposed to chase the ball and not the dog that is chasing the ball. She is a goof when she is playing springing off all four feet and prancing about like she hasn't quite learnt how to walk, this always makes her foster carers laugh.
Molly is most happy though in the back of a car or ute with the wind in her face...the look she gets is just pure bliss! She gets upset if one of her foster carers is leaving the house without her in the car and tends to sit beside the car with a sulky look on her face.
Molly is a slow and gentle eater preferring to nibble at her meals. She is very respectful of the other dogs that she lives with and sits waiting patiently for her food away from them. She knows to sit for dinner, however is still learning to shake hands and lay down. So far she has eaten everything her foster carers have given her from fruit to vegetables like brussel sprouts, carrot and apples!
Molly would love to enjoy a relaxing easy-going life with someone to lavish her with all the attention she deserves for the rest of her life! She has unfortunately also been heartworm positive and had to receive all the horrible treatment and needles that goes with that. Her new owners would need to be willing to ensure that never happens to her again. If you think you could be Molly’s world please come say Hi!
