I’m Miri and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Regular walks/potters around the block & frolics at the beach - I do tire quickly so walks should be kept short & sweet
• Rides in the car
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Happy to live with children
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No other dogs - I don't mind passing them and saying hi when out and about but due to my old lady nature I do not have much tolerance for them.

My best features:
• LOVE people
• I appear housetrained
• Though I am a senior lady I still love to play
• I can sit
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• Quiet natured
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• I walk well on lead
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy when excited and playing but I tire/settle quickly
