Rocky

Hi, I am Rocky (or Rocket as my foster Pop calls me).  I am a Jack Russell x Maltese. My foster mum keeps asking me what I want in a furever home as she is unsure.  I like kids but younger ones don't seem to understand I am still a playful pup.   I definitely like human companionship (once I know them), my foster mum calls me Mr Needy so someone home most the time would be my preference.  I am currently living with a pack but prefer hanging with my foster mum (a little jealous of the others) and do not like cats.  I am learning that I need to share my foster mum so find my own spot next to her to get my affection. 

I have been told I am a barker but I do this to get attention,  scare off strangers or warn of odd noises.  My foster mum has been working on this behavior and I believe I am getting better.

I love walks.

NOTE FROM FOSTER MUM:  Rocky growled at me at first but once in our environment became my shadow and has now been with us 6 weeks.   They say adopted dogs take 3 days to decompress,  3 weeks to know your routine (and this was true with Rocky), and 3 months for them to feel at home so we are looking for an applicant who have time to give Rocky those 3 months and forever.
