About Lily
Snuggle scope: I do enjoy a bit of lap time. I also like company and a relaxing massage when I’m tired but I’m not too fussed on being picked up.
Cat scope: I love other cats!! I might be a little shy wary at first whilst I’m getting to know them, but ultimately I want to be best friends with everyone!
Dog scope: They’re ok I guess, if they’re friendly and calm. The cockers at our house are nice.
Child scope: Little humans are a bit scary! I’m sure I’ll get to like them though if they’re quiet and gentle with me.
Ideal home: We would love a home where the person/s and animal/s are loving, friendly, attentive, and can ensure we are always kept safely indoors. This is especially important because I am so fair that I will burn easily from the sun.
About:
Pretty little Lily and siblings were born on a local farm to one of the resident “stable cats” (i.e., horse stables). Sadly, this dear little family were considered a burden to the owner of the farm and faced a terrible fate if a rescue group didn’t step forward and take them in. We did not hesitate to accept Mumma, pregnant aunty and 6 gorgeous little blue-eyed bubs into care.
At first glance it is obvious that little Lily's exotic beauty, with those gorgeous icy blue eyes is owing to pedigree heritage. Whilst Mumma Milly is a ginger and white tabby DSH, their Daddy is pet cat on the farm who is supposedly a Ragdoll, though as he is also shorthaired I suspect he is either a Ragdoll, or more likely Siamese, mix.
Since entering care at about 3 weeks of age, these babies have been socialised with young children, other cats, and a pair of older Cocker Spaniels and are thus quite well rounded. Whilst Lily is the most shy (not to mention smallest!), of the bunch, especially on first meeting new people, I’m sure that in a just a short time her lovely, sweet little personality will shine through. She is a soft, quiet natured little girl who likes gentle play, a nice relaxing pat, and the occasional warm lap to curl up in.
Due to her extremely fair, complexion and icy blue eyes, this little girl needs to be kept strictly indoors as she is highly susceptible to sunburn and even eye damage from excess sun exposure. Being the happy, playful little girl she is, Lily will be perfection fulfilled with plenty of toys, a tall scratching post, and the odd pot of cat- grass or the like, without the need to explore the “big wide world”. Outdoor enclosures that are completely shaded are acceptable though as well.
Medical notes
Lily is booked in for de-sexing 16/4/21 and will be ready to go to her furrever home from 18/4/21 all going well.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Lily is an extremely fair kitty, which makes her much more susceptible to sunburn and associated skin cancer later in life. It is imperative that she is kept indoors and safe from the sun at all times.
