About Opal
Hi my name is Opal and I am a beautiful, soft seal point girl with the most stunning blue eyes!!
I'm not fussy about what I eat as long as the word chicken is in it somewhere! I am carrying a bit of a jelly belly at the moment, but my humans have been imposing portion control to stop me gobbling so much of my yummy biscuits!
I am a bit of a diva, so like a lot of ‘me’ time! I enjoy spending most of my time chilling out with space to myself, getting some fresh air in my enclosed outdoor area or curled up on the bedroom chair for a snooze. I also like to have a good scratch and stretch on my scratching post every day.
I'm not a huge cuddly cat but i do like a head and under the neck scratch, when I've had enough I'll let you know, my tail doesn't lie! I don’t like to be picked up, but my Dad type human sometimes does and gives me a bit of a neck massage which is surprisingly relaxing, but don’t tell him that! I also like to surprise my adult humans sometimes by snuggling around their legs when they are asleep!
I am toilet trained and tolerate the odd dog visitor. I don’t like other cats, as I like to have some hunting playtime with my humans when I want it and not have to share that attention. I enjoy some playtime with a laser light to chase, but my favourite toy is a red piece of string, which I love to hunt, pounce on and chase around.
I would love to find a home where I can hang out with some space to myself in the daytime, but also some humans to hang out with in the evenings as I don’t like being alone all the time!
Looking forward to meeting you
(Please note: all our cats/kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
