About Milo
Snuggle scope: I do love a bit of lap time. I also enjoy company and a relaxing massage when I’m tired but I’m not too fussed on being picked up.
Cat scope: I love other cats!! I might be a little shy wary at first whilst I’m getting to know them, but ultimately I want to be best friends with everyone!
Dog scope: They’re ok I guess, if they’re friendly and calm. The cockers at our house are nice.
Child scope: Little humans are a bit scary! I’m sure I’ll get to like them though if they’re quiet and gentle with me.
Ideal home: We would love a home where the person/s and animal/s are loving, friendly, attentive, and can ensure we are always kept safely indoors. This is especially important because I am so fair that I will burn easily from the sun.
About:
Milo and siblings were born on a local farm to one of the resident “stable cats” (i.e., horse stables). Sadly, this dear little family were considered a burden to the owner of the farm and faced a terrible fate if a rescue group didn’t step forward and take them in. We did not hesitate to accept Mumma, pregnant aunty and 6 gorgeous little blue-eyed bubs into care.
At first glance it is obvious that these delightful little ones owe their exotic beauty to pedigree heritage. Whilst Mumma Milly is a ginger and white tabby DSH, their Daddy is pet cat on the farm who is supposedly a Ragdoll, though as he is also shorthaired I suspect he is either a Ragdoll, or more likely Siamese, mix.
Since entering care at about 3 weeks of age, these babies have been socialised with young children, other cats, and a pair of older Cocker Spaniels and are thus quite well rounded. Whilst they are a bit shy on first meeting new people, I’m sure that in a just a short time their lovely, happy little personalities will shine through. Whilst not very cuddly, Milo can be quite affectionate, loving a pat, or a nice warm lap to curl up in.
Due to his fair complexion and this little guy needs to be kept strictly indoors as he is highly susceptible to sunburn, particularly on his little pink nose and fair ears. Being the energetic, playful little guy he is, Milo will be more than happy with plenty of toys, a tall scratching post, and the odd pot of cat- grass or the like, without the need to explore the “big wide world”. Outdoor enclosures that are completely shaded are acceptable though as well.
Adoption details
Once you have read through our pets profiles the next step is to answer a few questions before organising a time to meet the cat or kitten. If you decide would like to continue with adoption after meeting your chosen kitty, we will send you an adoption application, which we will review. If successful we will then arrange a time for you to come and pick up your new furbaby at which time we will have a contract of adoption waiting for you as well.
