Gunner

Our Special Boy is now seeking his forever home
Gunner is a well lets say mix of alot of breeds we feel..
We have chipped him as breed Staffy x but I do see many other breeds in him
He does have a short bottom jaw so that's pretty cute to watch him eat and drink and this has no effect on his health
He is fine to leave alone while at work so that a huge plus.
Gunner has only been tested on lead with other dogs and shows no aggression but he prefers his own company we feel and toys are his life
Gunner is now looking for his forever home! Gunner is a very special boy who has had such a tough start to his life. He came to us very underweight and a little frightened. After some TLC and the right diet Gunner has become a completely different dog!
Gunner is an independent boy who will happily find himself a toy and keep amused throughout the day. His foster carer works a lot but he gets a walk once a day and normally a run at the dog park which he loves! He is a medium/large sized dog who needs a moderate amount of exercise.
Gunner is currently on Blackhawk Premium Dog Food with some of the Prime Meat Roll too. He gets dried chicken strips during the day when his foster carer is at work or a king toy with treats and peanut butter.
Gunner is still learning his manners with jumping but is quickly learning his basic commands like sit and stay. He is still learning but has come such a long way! Gunner is very good on the lead and does not pull at all!
His favourite toys are all of them! Rope toys, squeaky toys, tennis balls, fluffy toys, anything!!! If ever left on his own he loves to lay in the sun and roll around on the grass. He spends most of his time outside but loves to be on the couch inside too.
Gunner is a very loving affectionate special boy however he gets a little nervous when meeting new people for the first time. After a few minutes gaining some trust he is back to his normal loving self again but he is getting more and more confidence every day. He is ok with cats but likes to chase them after a while and has met other dogs on lead but not off lead. He does not show any aggression to other dogs.
Gunner has had a bad start to his life and is looking for someone to love him as much as he wants to love someone. He’s such a special boy with a big personality and is looking for a second chance at life!
