About Aqua
Hi there, I'm Aqua!
I'm a very special boy looking for a home to match. You see, this whole pet thing is very new to me, and I need an understanding family who can give me the time and space I need.
When I first arrived at Greysland I was so scared of people, but with lots of love, patience and kindness from the volunteers at Greysland, I'm slowly learning how to trust. Once I get to know you and I'm feeling comfortable, I'm the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and I'll be your loyal friend forever.
Here at Greysland, I've also discovered my new favourite thing - toys!! I can't get enough of them and I love nothing more than lying in the grass surrounded by toys of all kinds. I've also learned how much fun a game of fetch can be - it's a great way for me to bond with people!
My ideal home would be one without any other dogs or young children, with a kind and patient human who can help me gain confidence. I think I'd do best in a home with a backyard too, as that's my safe place if I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, fill out an application form and the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue will get on the case. Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way. Adoption details
All of Greyhound Rescue's adoption and foster placements are on a case-by-case basis. The first step is to complete the application form on our website. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Greyhound Rescue's adoption fee is $420. All our hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested and treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
