About Lexi
Meet Lexi.
Lexi is a 5yr old English Staffy.
Lexies has been surrendered to the shelter as she is a bit of an houdini, and her owners could no longer keep her contained and safe. Lexi gets upset when storms are approaching and it gets windy. Her pervious owners have told us when she was inside these situation would not bother her, she would find a bed to hide under until the storm/wind past. Due to their current situation, Lexi is not allowed inside anymore, therefore she would find anyway to get out due to her fear.
Lexi has come from a home with 3 young humans who she adored. Lexie has never lived with cats however we have been told that she has never seemed fazed by them. The shelter currently have 2 kittens in the office and Lexi did not react when seeing them.
Lexi gets on well with other dogs. She has a big happy personality and gets the whole body wag happening when she see's you. Lex is not a chewer or digger. she will require a home that has colourbond fencing so she can not climb.

Adoption details
The adoption process at the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in an animal, please apply via pet rescue, the Shelter staff will then review applications and phone selected applicants for a meet and greet. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone.
Once you have been selected as the right applicant for the animal, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Animal Shelter by eftpos ONLY (Via phone can be arranged after a meet and greet with the animal), provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated, if not already desexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic.
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog (to be desexed after adoption) - $280.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $180.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) - $200.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $125.00

Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm, flea & tick treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Special adoption pack (Full of goodies)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
