About Bailey
Based in Horsham 3400 - no we do not put our pets on transport. Must travel to meet Bailey.
Bailey our maltese x Bichon is now ready to start looking for his new home and people.
Please read Bailey's profile. Please do not apply if you don't meet the criteria.
Prior to coming to PARH Bailey has lived a life of adventure. He is not ready to just be a lap dog and home body!
Bailey is house trained and loves to be an inside /outside boy. Bailey does have an established behaviour of lifting his leg to mark territory when outside. He has never done this inside.
Bailey loves to go for walks but his pure joy on his walks is to mark every tree, post and letterbox. Bailey is good with other dogs but has previously come from a home as an only dog. We believe he is best being in a home as an only dog but opportunities to meet up with other little dogs for playdates. He is untested with cats and pocket pets.
Bailey likes to be around people. He becomes very animated and loves playing with school age respectful children.
Bailey has the typical small dog jaw and mouth issues. It is anticipated in the future he will need some dental surgery to remove some impacting teeth and have a clean.
So the home we are looking for is:
🐕 Only pet household
🐕 Mature and active, retired or semi retired couple or Family with respectful school age children who are home a lot.
🐕 a home where Bailey's social needs are met with doggy play dates.
🐕 a home where Bailey can be an inside - outside dog.
🐕 a home where he can go out and about with his people (he would make a great cafe dog).
🐕 a home where he is walked daily.
🐕 a home where there is a warm lap to lay on at night time.
🐕 a home that can cater to his grooming needs.
Bailey goes to his new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $800.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
