About Elvis
Hold on to your hats .. Elvis is ready for meets and greets
Just 17 weeks old and a Jack Russel Terrier x, this tiny little boy has been on quite a journey in his short life.
Elvis is certainly no stranger to followers of our page and we know you will be as thrilled as we are that he is still here , he is well and he is ready to take on the world.
So Lets do this.
Message from Foster Momma Barb.
Elvis came to me in February…a sad, skinny, broken little puppy who cowered from human hands and didn’t even know how to play.
We had a challenge on our hands for sure finding his brave.
Turns out that finding his brave was the least of our worries.
Within a week he was fighting for his life with parvo.
How cruel can life be ? … the vet said it was 50/50.
I told everyone, this pup has the will to live, he has made it through so much to find us, he’s going to make it … and he did.
Fast forward two weeks.
Elvis has put weight on and looks like a healthy puppy should look.
He now loves his toys, playing chase and tug-o-war with his doggy roomies and loves his pats and smooches.
He especially LOVES his humans.
The resident grumpy old cat has given him his share of beltings..as she does with all new doggies so they know their place… and he knows now to not be too over confident with them.
They’ve come to an agreement, she tolerates him just fine now, and he doesn’t bark at her anymore.
He’s been learning from his pack to give warning barks so he’ll be a good little watchdog.
He’s still learning about the world as he hasn’t been allowed out while recovering from parvo.
He has been for drives in the car though and he loves it.
He is ‘okay’ with the harness and lead but you can see he is just itching to get out and about to have a look around.
Elvis is going to make someone a very lucky, happy, adoptive human.
He has the sweetest nature and is just so happy now.
He is vaccinated to date (will need a final booster in a few weeks at adopters expense) and is up to date with his flea/ tick/ worm treatment.
His adoption fee is $750 and he is located at Buddina on the Sunshine Coast.
Elvis adoption fee includes his desexing at one of our partner vets when he is old enough (at approx. 26 weeks old)
Elvis, as you can imagine is a very precious and treasured member of our village and we are looking for the most special home for him.
We already know so many of our followers are interested in taking him home and we do ask for respect and understanding that there will be lots of applicants and his carer will only be able to contact a handful for meets.
If you truly believe that Elvis could be your boy, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the home you can offer him.
The more information you give us the better as we will be shortlisting for meets based on written applications.
Thank You
