"I am currently staying with amazing fosters and they have done so well in teaching me life, since in my previous home, I was left out on my own, and abandoned. I have come a long way, from being scared of the TV to now running the roost. No sofa they said, not allowed on the bed they said, but I turned that rule around, ha!"

Benji is a truly amazing, smart puppy. He is going to grow into a wonderful (BIG) dog. He loves to run and play, his favourite toy is a plastic bottle cut with holes and filled with kibble. He will run to the door to greet you with the biggest smile and wiggliest bum. Don't let the cuteness fool you though, he is a wee cheeky chops.

Benji is great with people, although due to his past, sometimes he can be a little bit skittish, but come down to his level and he will welcome you. He loves every dog he meets, he just wants to run and play with them, so a home with another dog would be really beneficial for him.

As Benji is still young, he will need ongoing training. He understands basic obedience and recall, provided there are no distractions. His carers are working with a dog trainer in this area of training and progressing quite well. Benji will require a strong, confident, experienced owner and someone who will dedicate their time and efforts into continual training to make him the best dog he can be. Benji should have owners that have a structured schedule and are at home more times than not, although he can be left alone and he is not destructive.
