About Betsy
Hi, My names Betsy and people say I’m a FRUG?! I think that means I’m half French Bulldog and half Pug.
I’m 14 months old. I was bought as a puppy, by my last family. And they realised it wasn’t a good fit, all round.
I have a very strong will and personality and didn’t get the consistent training that I needed.
I have been an outside dog.
But since been in foster care I have learned that I absolutely love being a inside dog. I have learned to go to the toilet outside.
I’ve learned to use a doggie door! YAY!
I sleep in my bed, next to my carer.
This is where I need to explain to you, I just so love love love people, and I get a little (people say a lot) jealous when I have to share my humans.
I’m good with dogs, but I prefer people if I had a choice.
I definitely need someone that will take me to obedience training, as I love to learn and love getting cuddles and kisses when I am a good girl.
My dream life is being with my humans/family a lot of the time.
I’m very loyal and just want to be wanted.
I really need someone that knows my breeds as we are very unique.
I love exercise and I have just learned to play with toys.
I can spend all day smooching you, or sitting under your desk, if you work from home.
I love kids as well, but need to be older as I’m pretty strong and can be abit of a klutz.
I am on the Gold Coast.
I weigh about 10.5 kg
Everyone calls me a little nugget.
Little Betsy needs a very specific home. She needs a family that are willing to put in the time and training. She doesn’t want to be second fiddle to another dog.
Betsy wouldn’t suit elderly people or a family with young children.
We are looking for someone that knows both breeds (if possible).
She will not suit a home where she is home a lot on her own.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
