Penny

Meet Penny!

Penny is one of six kittens that came to us as strays, they had been born in someones back yard and are, because of this, understandably timid with people.
While her siblings gained confidence quickly and have all found homes, sweet Penny is the most timid of the litter and has been overlooked by people coming to meet her siblings time and time again.
She still hisses when we approach her, but is happy to be picked up and held and gives us a deep, rumbling purr once we start to pat her. She has such a lovely nature that despite being so scared, she has never once tried to scratch us - she just tries to hide. She's a beautiful girl that just needs someone to give her a chance.

Penny will need an understanding, patient new family that is willing to work with her to build her confidence, so that her sweet nature and gorgeous personality can really shine. She's brilliant with other cats and would do well in a home with an existing cat to show her the ropes. Due to her flighty nature, we are looking for an indoor only home for Penny to keep her safe.

We hope there's a special someone out there for Penny who is able to look past the frightened hisses and is willing to give her a chance at a happy, fear-free life as a much loved companion.
